Yette lives in the Philippines and keeps a very interesting blog about her life there. She is a stay at home, homeschooling mom, and I especially enjoy reading about the ordinary, every day happenings that are in many ways so like my own, and yet filled with all the different and colorful customs and traditions so unique to the Philippines. Yette has a very sweet, well-spoken way about her, and includes lots of fun pictures of her family and her life there in the Philippines which make it a delightful place to stop off each day while blogsurfing.

Wow! Thanks. I feel so warm and fuzzy inside...really I do. No one has ever given me a blog award. It gives me a reason to keep thinking up things to write. Tomorrow I will post the pictures of that dern pesky polar bear in Noorvik that were emailed to me today. I would do it now but I forgot the photos on my work email.
Thanks again Becky. I really do have a lot of fun reading the comments that people write and it give me a kick that people think I am interesting enough to visit day after day. If you have any photo or blog topic requests send them my way...it will give me something to write.

Wow. I really was not expecting this. But I really and truly appreciate the thought. You are so sweet and really an insightful woman I really can't help but to admire you. I am glad that we somehow managed to "meet" in cyberspace and am really grateful for the friendship we have now. I appreciate all the comments you have made in my blog and i cannot even begin to express how much they have helped me during low times. so thank YOU for being so wonderful. =D

That's my girl! Hey, everybody, Becky is MY kid! Yep, the winner of blog awards and writer of awesome blog material, THAT is MY daughter. I'm proud of her (in case you couln't tell) but for much more than her blog and awards. She is an AWESOME woman, a wonderful mother, a very cool daughter, and she's even my good friend and confidante. She's beautiful, talented, creative, industrious, and I cannot believe how clean she keeps her house (I know her genepool and...well, let's just say she's exceptional)!!How could I be so fortunate? God does that for people.
