It's date night with my husband. Without the kids. And what I'm thinking would come out sounding almost like dialogue from a romance novel:
"I have waited for so long..."
"I've yearned for you..."
"I can hardly wait to see you again..."
I don't know what you all were thinking, but I'm talking about our once monthly trip to Cheesecake Factory for my favorite dessert ever...Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake! ;0)
My husband jokingly refers to my love of fine chocolate as me stepping out on him with my European lovers...Godiva, Guittard, Ghiradelli. Yes, I do have a problem. I am hopelessly addicted to chocolate.
It is pretty sad when we finally have an evening to ourselves, just Jeff and I, without Judah wreaking havoc in a restaurant or the kids reaching over to snatch croutons from our salads or whining about not wanting to go look in all the shops at the mall, and no set time to be back...and all I can think about is that decadent, mouthwatering, flavorful culinary masterpiece...Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake.

"Naughy naughy naughy" as Judah would say! However, I don't EVEN want to tell you what I made last night after 9 o'clock! Suffice it to say that it's about as fattening a thing as you can get. Not chocolate, but ALMOST as good. Mammy's little baby loves it! So does Richard and Alison, but I've stashed it away 'case mammy loves it more than they do!
3 ingredients, really easy to make. Too easy. This was the first time I've made it, and I'm sorry I did. It's just too easy. Butter, sugar and flour. Melt in your mouth. Next time I'll put in finely chopped pecans for Richard. (Yeah, right!).
I have a few European secret loves myself. Ferrero, and quite a few Swiss guys. Now I hope that nobody reading this mistakes what I'm saying here. My name is Ann, and I'm a chocoholic....

ROTFL! Becky, I'm almost as bad. That picture made my mouth start watering and I had to swallow several times while reading that post! I didn't know you could get Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake!! I seriously felt my eyes pop when I read that!!
Yeah, I have a few lovers myself. Lindt being one of them. And Frumpgram, Ferrero makes his way to my house on occasion, too! ;-)
